Mongolians have 5 domestic animals. They are very high productive and beneficial for daily life of Mongolians. We consume meat, milk, wools and cashmere, leather products. Dairy products are tarag-yogurt, byaslag-cheese, urum- cloth cream, aaruul-dried curd. Wools and cashmere are used for clothes, deels-national outfit, esgii-felt and shoes. Tanned leather is used as ropes for household and clothing and shoes or boots. You will be trained how to make or do above products and know the ways and have some skills and get experience, when you are staying at the camp. Even you may learn to do various daily or seasonal works of Mongolian herdsmen as how to breed the livestock, how to milk cows, how to make dairy products, how to cut or sheer wools and how to use the wools. Also you could feel and be excited by traditional philosophy of nomadic lifestyle, how they fit the nature in harmony for so many years, how they protect and save natural beauties. And you may learn to prepare and cook Mongolian food and experience Mongolian cuisine. The Naadam festival, a traditional celebration inherited from olden days, is the biggest national event for Mognolians. The word “Naadam” means “games”, and the festival’s full title is “Eriin Gurvan Naadam”, which can be translated as the Three Manly Games” They consist of wrestling, horseracing and archery. It is a tradition for the strongest wrestlers, for the fastest horses, and most expert marksmen from all over the Mongolia to gather to test courage, strength, and coolness.
The Mongolian two-humped Bacterian camel is nicknamed the "Gobi Ship" by local people, and inhabits the Gobi Desert area in the southern part of Mongolia. As an inseparable part of the life of nomadic Mongolians, it has become a tradition in Mongolia to organize a Camel Festival annually.
There is no better way to explore Mongolia than on horseback. All participants can wear traditional costumes and equipment of the time, while riding through landscape almost unchanged since the founding of the Mongolian empire.

The Grand Orchestra of the Mongolian national Song and Dance consists of musical instruments including stringed instruments, wind instruments, and percussion instruments and will perform outdoors amongst the green landscape of beautiful Grokhi-terelj National park. You will hear spectacular masterpieces of classical music and the best of Mongolian melodies at the same time. The Grand Orchestra is composed of nearly 80 musicians performing on traditional Mongolian musical instruments including morin huur /horse-head fiddle/, ikh huur /grand fiddle/, huuchir /two string instrument/, shudraga /three stringed lute/, yatga /zither or harp/, flute, bishguur /woodwind instrument/, trumpet horn, drums, cymbals and jolts.
The festival is specifically organized to introduce foreign guests to the life, culture, and history of Mongolian kings and queens, nobles, warriors and nomadic people that lived in the 13th century. This festival includes sporting games, cultural performances, introduction to nomadic traditions, an offering ceremony to ovoo and an “Open Fire Feast”. As one of the specific features of the festival, nearly 100 warriors on horseback will participate along with nearly 200 specialists. Various expert, scientists, seamstresses and blacksmiths will take part in the organization of these events and contribute to the making of costumes and other equipments that will be used throughout the festival. It will be a great opportunity for you to witness the summoning of ancestral spirits by Mongolian shamans, learns about shaman customs, meet courageous warriors of Chinggis Khaan and experience the ancient nomadic civilization. It is a day to transfer into the ancient period of history and create the memory of a lifetime.
The event will provide you a chance to watch the methods and technology of preparing “airag” /fermented mare’s milk/ and traditional dairy products and the power and skill of a horseman breaking an untamed horse for riding, catching horses with a lasso-people and snatching a lasso-pole lying on the ground.
